Crown Inn Spice - Allerdale

Food too over TWO A HALF HOURS, had to ring up twice to find out if my food was on its way. The woman on the phone was very blunt and rude with me put down the phone before I could cancel my...order. The masla sauce was extremely rich gave us bad stomachs. The lamb was overcooked, but the chicken, rice and bread was fine, but nothing special very expensive.

Thought I would try Crown Indian for a change, big big mistake, curry, rice nan bread most expensive around here, had to throw it in the bin, the lamb was like leather and the rest tasted awful, should have walked...back out when I met the smell when entering the premises, not good. Found out afterwards my sister in law had been really ill after eating from there. Avoid like the plague HORRIBLE Had to give as I could proceed by given 0

Just had a delivery from here an again I didn’t not order it my little brother rang in thinking to try something different from our local tandoori but it isn’t it’s far from it the food was disgusting full of oil an no flavour very...disappointed. Now he realised Maryport Tandoori is far far better than the crown inn.

Went to friend house in Maryport to visit. Was hungry We decide to have takeaway from some where my friend she is indian curry eater she loves Indian food. She normally use the restaurant on the harbour call Tandoori I've tried there food as...well it's really fantastic they are very busy all the time. Anyway we planned to have takeaway form different place which is Crown in Spice elenborough maryport. Food taste awful disgusting that was a wrong dicition the worst never mind. Just waist the money????

I have ordered previously first time last year was great, tried again and was poor. I thought everyone can have a bad day and gave them another go. ordered for delivery. Waited min for it to get literally down the road. I didn’t think...you could get veggy korma wrong. Onion bhajis tasted like supermarket frozen ones. Korma consisted of bland sauce and a handful of peas, carrots, onion and red pepper?! Naan was tasteless. Chips where only edible part of it ... wasted. Gutted as it was so nice the first time I tried there. I’m aware there where some issues and police where involved maybe management has changed. Clearly no proper chef with a love for cooking/food.
