Jay's Local - Allentown

I like the idea. Interesting and fresh menu. Not a big menu, but look around, there are things posted all over. On my visit things seemed to be going about as smooth as sandpaper. Not sure if some college staff placed a big order or if it was training day, but it was a very long wait. My Latte had some very strange flavors going on. Could just be their roast. And the Avocado Toast was tasty, but I suspect it could be way better with a little Lemon Aioli Drizzle, or a little tasty lipid of some sort on the toast. After returning a few times, I have concluded the first visit was just a bad day. I love the Avocado Toast and the folks working the morning shift are super splendid A lovely community place with a great outside area!

My wife and I live in Virginia. Every time we visit my family in Allentown we visit Jay?s Local. We love the hospitality, food, service, and most of all the vibe. We have yet to have anything but a perfect experience. The Local burger is fantastic and a must have! We will continue to return time and time again.

Such a cute spot for a coffee or a bite to eat on the weekend. We tried this for the first time only getting coffee but definitely want to come back to try the food. It looked delicious. They also do pop up food offerings from other businesses. Outside seating too and pet friendly.

This is a fantastic local restaurant. The food is fresh and sourced from local suppliers. The service is outstanding. The owners and their mother are always present, which reflects their genuine pride in running the business.
