El Aztecas Mexican - Allendale

I have to admit, I consider myself a connoisseur of Mexican food! Growing up in Southern California surrounded by mostly Hispanic friends, I was exposed to some seriously good, authentic Mexican cuisine. When I moved to Michigan 20 years ago, there was very little in terms of Mexican dining options. I was recommended to try Beltline Bar, and I remember thinking to myself, "Is this really authentic Mexican food?" Fast forward 20 years, and Mexican restaurants are now plentiful in this area. However, I find it interesting that many people seem to believe that good Mexican food is just limited to tacos. This is definitely not the case! Recently, I discovered a new restaurant that I absolutely adore. The enchiladas and burritos are outstanding, the service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the margaritas are amazing! I highly recommend this place. If you disagree, then perhaps you are not familiar with authentic Mexican cuisine. Stick to Beltline Bar or other non-authentic Mexican taco joints, but know that they do not compare to the quality of food and experience you will find at this place. I give it 5 stars!

We decided to get takeout and the staff was very helpful in explaining the menu. It was my first time at this restaurant and I will definitely be returning. Service for takeout was excellent, and the dinner options were priced between $30 and $50 per person. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was great. I highly recommend trying the Burrito Grande. There is ample parking available.

I absolutely adored the ambiance of this restaurant. The food was fantastic as well. The service was top-notch. I dined in for lunch and found the price range per person to be between $10 to $20. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5-star rating. Some recommended dishes include Chips and Salsa, Nachos Supreme, Homemade Chips Salsa, and the Steak Fajita Quesadilla - which was as big as the plate and loaded with huge slices of steak.
