Vettraino's - Allen Park

It was there for the first time a few weeks ago. I was looking for a big oven near home. I wasn't disappointed. It was nice to have a real pizza again. If you are not used to authentic oven pizza it could be a little too different for the average pizza eater. These guys import their flour to make their dough and the ingredients are always fresh. It is definitely not a $5 pizza that is basically hot ketchup and bread. Remember people you pay for. The pizza here is great! I prefer to eat genuine cheese, fresh dough, sauce and toppings over a processed chain pizza every day.

Had dinner tonight excellent as usual. Authentic Italian food. Staff Owner very personable. Owner always comes by asks how your meal was. Excellent game room with pool table big TVs. Allen Park High School jerseys. Owner is a big supporter of Allen Park. Outstanding place to take a date or a family for dinner or a group of friends for a good time. Give it a try. This is our family's favorite place!!! The service is great and the food is even better!!! Allen Park's hidden gem for authentic Italian food in a quaint cozy atmosphere with daily specials and handmade brick fire pizza. A definite must try, and revisit for anyone in the area, or looking for excellent homestyle Italian!! If you like Pia's, you will certainly enjoy the food here!!!!!!

I've been visiting this restaurant for a few months, and after reading the previous reviews, I'm a bit confused by the comments about it being too expensive. My family and I can enjoy a meal there for under $40 and leave completely satisfied. Their pizza is amazing; I usually order the pasta dishes while my family sticks with the pizza. Good luck trying to feed a family of five at Wheat and Rye for $40—it's simply not going to happen! The place is very clean, the service is excellent, and the food is fantastic. Plus, as a bonus from Ford, I get 20% off my bill. I will definitely be returning!

My husband and I frequently visit this restaurant because we absolutely love everything it has to offer! The owner, Dan, is incredibly friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. We've tried the pizza, lasagna, spaghetti, and ravioli, and I can't recommend the Honey Jack Salmon enough! The salads and the fresh, deep-fried mushrooms are excellent appetizers to start off your meal. The waiting staff is fantastic, and we always look forward to being served by Mario, who is such a delightful waiter.
