Bonefish Grill - Allen

Delicious lunch. Best Moscow Mule ever. Bang bang shrimp was fantastic. Ahi tuna bowl was beautiful and very tasty. Bartender was spot on. Chef asked about meal. Waiters were awesome. Great place.

Love love love this place. My favorite calamari that I've yet to have. Awesome drinks too. I could eat a gallon of their risotto. Always really nice service.

Another cool chain restaurant with no compelling food and inconsistent service. A tad overpriced. In general, avoidable for me, but I won't put up a fight if someone insists this is where they want to be.

Bonefish Grill just opened up in Allen about a month ago AND we had a 15% off coupon from their website that expired today, so we thought we might give this place a try even though neither one of us is a big fan of fish…<br/ <br/ Om: What a great surprise this was! We got there a bit before 4:00 and the restaurant was not busy at all, we got seated immediately. The decor was modern and everything looked and smelled brand new. The menu had a variety of items on it, not just fish related. Good news for me! I went with the wagyu cheeseburger with bacon with some mac cheese and house chips. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time and WOW, what a nice surprise! Everything was outstanding. The burger had some of the best meat that I have tasted, the house chips were unique and set them apart of other “normal” chips, and the truffle mac cheese beat most that I have had at other steakhouses. I tried one of Nom’s shrimp taco’s and, though a bit on the spicy side, I would definitely like to give them a try in the future. The dessert that was recommended, some kind of berry shortcake thing with a ton of berries, was a perfect finish to an outstanding meal. We got a good amount of food for under $47 w/o tip, with quality service and a nice relaxed atmosphere. In only one visit this became one of our “go-to” higher end restaurants!<br/ <br/ Nom: I have to admit that the only thing that looked appealing to me initially was the ad for the tacos…and I was totally and pleasantly surprised by our visit to Bonefish! The building is beautiful inside and out. I am not a seafood fan, like at all, but this place blew me away. I kind of expected for it to smell like a seafood place but it didn’t! Maybe that’s because it’s brand new and still smells like a new building but it worked for me. I also thought that the tacos would be the only thing on the menu that I would eat, I was also pleasantly surprised that they had a good selection for those of us who are not seafood fans! My handsome love had the burger and I had a small taste…that was the best burger I’ve tasted in a while! I will have that next time we go! I had the bang bang shrimp tacos and a side of mac n cheese. Three huge tacos came out with cold crisp lettuce hot fried shrimp and the bang bang sauce on the side. Those were some tasty tacos! I would order them again! (and again I was full from the tacos so I had to get my mac n cheese to go but the bite I did have was outstanding. Better than mac n cheese we’ve had at high end steakhouses! <br/ Our server was very helpful and nice and the bill was reasonable! This is a “go to” restaurant even if you don’t like seafood! I highly suggest you check it out :

Reduced seating made for great service. The food was excellent and my wife's birthday could not have been better. They allowed us to bring in our own birthday cake which awesome. Another great experience here.
