Anyway, we walked in and asked the rather aloof European staff for two caramel frappes. The employee took a step back as if we had offended him, then awkwardly threw his arm through his leg in a bizarre gesture. At that moment, we realized what was happening—Todd started mimicking the worker’s strange movements in a playful challenge. I glanced between Todd and the employee, both of them so nervous that sweat beaded on their foreheads like racehorses after a sprint. I noticed Todd’s finger twitching, and it got a reaction from the employee. In an almost theatrical move, he suddenly shifted his arm and made three quick gestures inappropriately. Todd let out a yelp just before he seemed to fade away. The employee clicked something in his holster and shoved it away, then hurriedly prepared the frappes. I ended up drinking both—one for me and one for Todd. Please like this review and share Todd’s story. We won’t let his memory fade away with pride. Rest in peace, Todd (2002-2020).
