Albino - ALGHERO

This is our second visit to Sardinia,and this restaurant came recommended.Our visit was out of season,and we hadn't booked.We were welcomed in and the service we received was so attentive,giving us extras.. wine,a liquor with desert The restaurant is nicely furnished,and clean.The menu had something for all tastes,but the speciality is the range of steaks,which are brought to the table on a hot stone.We opted for a selection...and they melted in our mouths..great sides too..and a pepper sauce made just for us..again as an extra If you want a friendly atmosphere with amazing food...that won't break the bank.. €130 for 4 for 2 courses and 2 drinks each then I haven't found better in Alghero.

Although I am Irish ....I live in Alghero.........and have to say ...the quality of Albinos is superb in every way ! The steaks are fantastic......as are the pizzas ........ The restaurant itself is beautiful .....inside and out ...by the pool !!!!!!!! Lovely atmosphere all round...... And great prices ,,,,,,,,all worth it .........

I have just had a lovely family dinner at Albino and it was a great experience. Adriano , the owner, suggested a delicious starter of Italians and Sardinians salami and cheese and for main he has recommended the grilled meat selection which was served with different varieties of salts and sauces accompanied by very well seasoned roast potatoes and grilled vegetables. Also great the suggestion of the red wine and delightful home made tiramisù to finish what was an amazing evening. Nice veranda and very child friendly. Highly recommended
