Swamp Daddys - Alexandria

Great service, great food. Cold beer by the bucket. I had the boiled shrimp which were delicious. The boudin balls are on point as well. I miss them (I'm from South Dakota).

Awesome place for a pretty authentic (according to the locals) crawfish boil. The bread pudding, you need to save room for.

There was about a 15 minute wait, which wasn't too bad. The waitress was very attentive, refilling drinks when needed. My husband had the boiled crawfish which he enjoyed. I had the fried shrimp and it was delicious. Real Cajun atmosphere and kid friendly. We will be back!

The Cajun rolls might be the best thing I 've ever tasted and the catfish was really good as well. The swamp sauce that they serve is good enough to drink by itself.
