Sticky Rice - Albuquerque

I went to this place because I have weekdays off and I wanted to see if this taste like gai yang. I was not disappointed. I had the two leg quarters on sticky rice. The chicken was moist and delicious. The sauce that comes with the chicken is sweet and spicy but good. Gai yang sauce is more on the sweet side. The service was fast and the restaurant is a to go place. I enjoyed the food and hope that you will try it out. I went back and tried the 5 honey chicken. I love the kai ping or gai yang better. I talked to the owner and he told me that this is Laotian street food. I wish they opened on weekends, but I understand that people have to rest. The only ping kai in ABQ. This is my go to place for chicken. This is a take out only place.

I've thought about this place everyday for 4 years...it's absolutely delicious. That sauce is Thee boss y'all. Eating some of the best food in the city for $7.86 is what you need right now

Love this place. The menu is simple, but sometimes that can be best: I'd rather a place be fantastic with five things than mediocre with 40. Service here is friendly and fast, and I mean crazy fast. I can't count how many times I've finished signing my receipt only to then have my food handed to me.
