Service was terrible. We had TWO servers, neither were great when bringing out our food and it came out late (we were the first ones to order in the theater). We had to ask for ranch three times and were told “we’re working on it”. We then proceeded to attempt to order popcorn. Surprise!!! It never came after asking twice. The first server never came again, the second server seemed bugged when I had asked for the ranch and popcorn the final time. The last time they came around was to give us the check. Completely uncomfortable, especially when the people next to you ordered after you and got their food before you. We had the same exact servers. For the price and gratuity tip (that we have no say on), you would expect better service.
It would have been great to have a footrest. Additionally, when there's a discrepancy between the quoted price and the actual cost, customers should be informed and given the opportunity to adjust their order. Furthermore, even the staff acknowledges that the automated ticket purchase kiosks frequently malfunction. While it's a nice concept, there are several issues that need to be addressed.
This experience was fantastic! It had been years since I visited a cinema café, and it truly delivers a unique experience. After purchasing your ticket, you head to your seat where a large tray is provided. A server comes to take your order and brings your food while you enjoy the film. The menu includes appetizers, entrees, popcorn, icees, and a selection of alcoholic drinks, including various beers and wine-based cocktails. We sampled the cheese curds, potato boats, and popcorn, and everything was delicious. I will definitely return! Just a heads up: they automatically add an 18% gratuity to the bill.
We finished our entire meal, and I went to ask about our drinks, only to find them sitting outside the theater. When I informed the waiter that we were done with our meal and still hadn’t received our drinks, he promised to take them off our bill, but that never happened. Additionally, their checkout process is poorly managed. By the end of the movie, we were exhausted and it was already midnight. We wanted to head home, but they hadn't processed our payment or that of other patrons. There was a long line of people waiting to be cashed out right outside the theater. They really need to start checking people out when the movie is about three-quarters of the way through, so patrons can receive their receipts and leave promptly after the film ends instead of having to chase someone down. When I spoke to the female manager about the situation, she seemed completely indifferent—no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. Perhaps she was stressed, but it felt like she didn’t care at all. I spent over a hundred dollars that night and expected much better service. Our experience was in Theater 7 at 9:30, and I mention this in case other managers need to be aware without placing blame on anyone else.
