I wanted a ploughman’s teller for my birthday, so dr. google used for a suggestion. the bleakhouse hotel was first on its list and simply so. extensive menu and friendly and efficient service. I had the ploughman’s teller, my wife had the terrain, and the...Grandchildren chose cheeseburgers with fries. a most pleasant experience. as there are many interesting decisions on the menu, we will be back!

On a cold, clear winter day, with hardly anyone in the restaurant, we were treated to wonderful service and really well cooked meals. even if a steak was not very rare enough (for my taste), the waitress also it back to be cooked again without being reliant. really a jewel along the coast of melbourne.

Eating is more than average. comfortable outside and inside seats for a beautiful outing. a local gem. the food service was somewhat slow in this public holiday, and they have a holiday supplement.

Six of us sat in one stand and ordered the $25 sunday, what happened to be huh, bacon mushroom served on a bed of kartoffel mash. it was divine. the chicken was moist and much of it, the sauce was full of taste and the mushrooms and speck made the dish a winner. that was comfortable, which enabled us to hear the whole conversation. the staff was friendly and helpful. what a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Bleakhouse Hotel Albert Park I like it !!! 782056952 Having read the previous reviews for this Venue, I was not expecting too much, but was pleasantly surprised. The location is a massive plus, you can easily sit at the bar and people car watch...all day, and if your like me, see how many pints you can drink before one of the big ships sails out of site. (Try it, its fun). The theme of Sheik Sports bar (Individual TVs in Booths) although probably not everyones cup of tea, really worked for me. Now on to the food, I like the idea of the weekend roast, but it was the Red Thai Prawn Curry with Jasmine Rice that won me over. The food came only 15min after ordering, and it was well above what I was expecting. Generous amount of Prawns (10) and a delicious creamy Red Thai sauce. Could not fault it. Perfect amount of chilli, left my mouth watering and wanting more. Good attentative staff, I Like It . I will be back next time for a maybe boozy afternoon in the outside tables.
