What a lovely place at a top location. Great staff and the atmosphere is great. The food is of top quality and not expensive for what you get. A place worthy in Via dei Neri

Over many years, we have been here well over a dozen times. The food, service and atmosphere have always been professional and pleasing. I am sure everyone is greeted with a smile, but it is nice to know you are remembered, as we remember the fine waiters. Today, we brought some friends, who are experiencing their first trip to Liguria. Like us, they are enchanted with this special corner of Italia. I have read some of the negative reviews. My working hypothesis is that some people are living in an alternate universe. This is a fine restaurant and worthy of your trade.

I should have reread my last review. Perhaps I wouldn't have had the same main dish. Then again, it was still very pleasing. This time, we started with pasta courses-each of which was plenty for two. Same professional and congenial waiter. Same, beautiful courtyard. There is a time to try new places and new dishes. There is also a time to treasure what is consistently fine and exemplary of the local cuisine. You won't go wrong dining at this charming Osteria.

Friends night, fish dinner. excellent courses, however well prepared, but something went wrong in the service or in the kitchen, with different expectations both to order and then eat. It can happen. Moreover a part of the staff seemed, oando un eufemismo, little practical, and certainly not to the level that the restaurant proposes. There's probably just something to improve.
