Second Street Sundries - Albemarle

I love this place because they serve things that are different

Just, WOW! I was in town for a cycling event and happened on this sundries shop for breakfast. Go for a morning coffee and veggie quiche, but stay for the service. The cashier (perhaps the owner) was so encouraging and supportive as I was obviously about to go on a bike ride and my server was so sweet. The eating area is exceptionally clean and very inviting. I could sit in a relaxing chair catching up on morning news while watching others sharing quiet conversations around the rest of the restaurant. Thank you, Albemarle, for being so welcoming to 1000 strangers.

Very pleasant experience all around! First time visit today, won't be my last! Super clean, very friendly and great tasting, healthy options are just a few of the positive aspects of our visit. Staff was friendly, helpful, welcoming. We came in to support their mission with no expectations. However, we were delighted with our meal and our new friends! Well done!

Great donuts, ice cream and cinnamon buns for the sweet tooth. Good setting for a conversation and a cup of coffee

So happy anytime I get a chance to eat here! I love the donuts and my son loves the ice cream! The chicken quesadilla is my GO TO but they have lots of sandwiches and wraps, plus weekly specials! I just wish they were open later so I could eat it for dinner!
