Texastar Steakhouse - Albany

Never had a bad meal or service here if I in albany this is the place I will eat.

I waited 1 hour and 27 minutes for a hb and left. I could understand that they were busy, but the 2 men over the course of me came to me in 20-30 minutes and got their food (a order was a hb) and were two bites of the finish when I left. What's wrong with this art?

I just came out at 8:30 a.m. from work, called my man and told him to meet me in Texas I was there 20 min before he left, I took the waiter 10 min before I asked myself if I brought something while he took my water and before I left my men sweet tea. I woke it up for him 5 minutes before he came there, he ordered the hamburger, last time we went there, they were wonderful this time that he said they were in order. I did not cook the grilled pork chops with veg and supper rice and I had so much time to see the menu I saw the extras section, cup suppe $2.99 I thought h yes I can go ahead and a french plan suppe for $2.99 instead of $4.49 I know it is not much different but I like to save money where I can I'll never be there anymore. I won't eat here and I won't order. the service was treacherous and eating was worse. never again and I wouldn't recommend this place.

We have eaten in Texastar many, often over the years and eating was always good along with the service. the place was clean and we always earned our money. you can't say that for some of the other steak houses in the city.

I used to love to go to Texastar to eat but, not anymore!! The service is terrible and the music is to loud. What happened to the nice quiet atmosphere? Does anyone in town own it or does someone out of town? Looks like it has no manager at all, employees laughing and playing like kids in a daycare. Looks like it doesn't matter to them if you come in to eat or not. I hate this, it is the only place left in Albany to get a fresh cut steak. I won't be going back.
