This is the last sign of Gargano's since Gargano's East was torn down. The pasta, salad, and pizza are all fantastic. My favorite dish is the fettuccine with meat sauce, which tastes almost exactly like what my Italian grandmother used to make. The service is excellent, and the staff is very friendly, although we really miss Johnny Sr.
However, there are a few areas for improvement. The furniture could use an update, as some of the seats felt like they were falling apart, and the ceiling might benefit from renovation to further enhance the immersive experience. Additionally, the restaurant has not offered pizza or wings since the onset of COVID, which is a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a fantastic night out!
I went to this restaurant with my family, and we had a fantastic evening! The selection of Italian food was excellent. While the menu isn't extensive, the quality of the dishes more than makes up for it! The service was exceptional; our waiter was friendly and engaging. We chose this place based on a recommendation from a former staff member, and we were not disappointed at all. I will admit I'm a bit let down that they haven't been serving pizza since the pandemic began, but that's a minor issue. They offered a remarkable selection of Italian wines, and the server had great recommendations. If you decide to order a salad, definitely try their house-made blue cheese dressing. The veal piccata was delightfully tender, and the Alfredo pasta was rich and creamy without being overwhelming. Oh, and we also appreciated the beautiful murals inside the restaurant!
The food is excellent, beautifully prepared and presented. The staff is wonderful and attentive, and they offer good wine options. They do serve cappuccino, but unfortunately, they don’t have pizza.
