Osteria Porcavacca - ALATRI

Nice restaurant, good meats, understaffed, horrible service makes a night unenjoyable. Very slow and unresponsive service.

I went here one night with family on a recent vacation to Italy. We were a large party of 16. We made reservations before hand however it was pretty empty when we arrived. We went in the middle of the week so It wasnt packed later in the evening either. We ordered so appetizers to be shared around the table. We had a variety. Cold antipasto of meats and cheeses and a hot one of some vegetables. Im not a fan of veggies so I stuch with the cold antipasto. It was very good. The prosciutto was very tasty. We then ordered a bunch of pizzas to be shared by all. I had the sausage one and the plain cheese. Both were very delicious. I have been to Italy lots of times for vacations and to visit family and have eaten pizza from all over and have to say this is the best pizza in Italy. I would also put it in my top 5. The service was very good and fast. We were there for almost 3 hours and were never rushed or felt like they wanted us to leave.

Il locale è molto ampio e semplice, ma diventa molto rumoroso quando è pieno. Il cibo è semplice ma di buona qualità, si tratta di un ristorante-pub. Il servizio è buono.
