Rizo's - Alamogordo

We were just through and decided to stop here last minute and wow we were so impressed. If I ever come back, I'll definitely get the street tacos my friend got. Don?t get my wrong, the taco salat was delicious and well prepared, but the tacos, especially the al pastor of my thought after, were phenomenal! and mmmm were the churros also perfect. but this visit was really made by the incredible employees. we arrived in 30 minutes before they closed, the half expected to turn away, but ready to eat quickly. each individual person from the host, to our incredibly sweet server, to any passing server, cook or busser, was over friendly and friendly. they treated us like a family. I love this place.

Red or green, or both? Yes, yes! The meat was exceptionally flavorful. We really enjoyed both the red and green salsas, with the green having just a bit more heat. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Coming from East Tennessee, we appreciated the unique dishes that were new to us.

Definitely will not come here again. The chicken and bacon was definitely old. Bacon was yellowish from being left out before being cooked, any one who cooks know what I mean about the bacon. The chicken had the taste of being old, kinda like turkey from thanksgiving, left overs. Basically all white and yellow lettuce. The zucchini was over cooked. The only thing I enjoyed was the horchata.

I had a lovely dinner here, and there’s a wonderful variety of food on the menu. Their tacos are packed with delicious meat, just like the chimichanga. My chile rellenos was one of the best I’ve had recently. The homemade salsa was slightly brownish and a bit mild, though. The service was excellent in this charming family-run gem in Alamo.

Super friendly staff and eat, that is a great value for the price. try the torta of rizo for the largest torta they will ever have. horchata here is cheap, comes in the big cups, and refills are free.
