The service is quick at this restaurant. You are allowed to smoke as much as you want. The prices are very competitive. A steak and eggs breakfast is only $15. I have never had a bad breakfast here. The coffee is a bit weak, but overall, it is the best little spot.

Tonight, I ordered a delicious roast beef sandwich with real French fries smothered in gravy. My son had his usual chicken fingers with French fries and gravy, while his friend opted for a fruit plate piled high with melons, pineapple, tangerines, cottage cheese, a bowl of applesauce, which was the largest fruit plate I have ever seen. Despite being packed, the restaurant managed to move people quickly so no one was left waiting. It's a great spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The restaurant's name means "You come eat now" and they definitely deliver on that promise. The total bill came to $22.00, making it an excellent choice for a Friday night dinner.

Never come here. This is the epitome of a trashy Akron store. All of the staff is extremely rude and get this... An employee tried to rob me in my car before I left! Never have I gone to get cigarettes somewhere and left calling the police. Jan's is by far the trashiest place in Akron and should be everyone's last option

Had the roast beef tasted funny told waitress and she was snotty and never offered to get me something else definitely won't go back there

Have been going for years just on Friday nite for the fish fry ! Always excellent -Fresh grease, great batter, large piece or two of fish and served with fries, bread, coleslaw , and Mac Salad. The Mac salad is awesome-not canned ****. Fresh mayo and icy cold ! I refuse to complain about the smoke cuz at least there is someplace left to sit and enjoy one after dinner. You should know that going in and adjust yourself. And-you can always order takeout !!
