Eggsmart - Ajax

The room was packed but there was only one server manning the joint. She was really nice and apologetic but we felt sorry for her. She did her best but many tables were waiting to be served or make payment. Food was good though we got the food before the coffee came but we extended grace. Normally things are much better here.

Didn't bring our coffee until half an hour after ordering - with PART of our meal. They only brought mine and my daughters. My mother - guest of honor - didn't get her meal. I tried flagging down a waitress - no eye contact. I had to leave the table and go into kitchen area and get in their face as to the location of my mothers meal. Even then we waited another 20 mins. My daughter and I are now finished - what we could as my over easy eggs were not cooked - yoke was full of mucous/water and my daughters pancakes not cooked either and tasted kind of grainy and definitely not fluffy. While still waiting for my mothers meal she was offered a free glass of orange juice and an excuse that they were busy. I said I understood but no one wants to be the one who ruins their mother's Mother's Day breakfast. Finally my mothers banana-berry pancakes arrive - not cooked thru as well. So we just go to pay and the server who still wants to save her tip offers us 2go containers. I informed them that I would definitely not be taking that food home as it was not good. She promptly removes the item from bill but this should've been done from the start. My background is in hospitality and customer service. When that server realized the mistake she should've offered to comp the meal - but instead we left extremely unhappy and unsatisfied. All this time the manager not once asked what was wrong or tried to make the situation right. You can be sure we will not be back. Angelique's and Scrambles are worth the wait in line in Ajax rather than go to this epic fail of a franchise location.

I have been going to Eggsmart Ajax for the past 1.5 years on the weekly bases. My family and I go there 2-3 times a week because of the friendly staff/management and cook. This Eggsmart location is one of the best locations I have been to and I can say this because I travel a lot for business. Hands down the best breakfast place with the most affordable pricing. Can't wait until Friday morning to visit again :)

Like any breakfast place.. and AJAX has about 20!.... Eggsmart is franchised and therefore, formulaic, clean, good speed, clean bathrooms, but... most of all... it's run by a family with great customer service that cares.We had to do x3 adjustments to the breakfasts (steak and eggs) as both my wife and I are on special diets -- all accommodated for by the chef, and the cash register.Gonna visit at least 1/month for my usual Sunday meal.May 2016 - Ajax, ON

It's a good place to take a family breaksfast. I ate a delicious eggs benedict. I don't like the orange juice, it's supposed to be natural, but had a lot water inside it.
