Came here for the second time since last year and didn't realise how tranquil this sushi train place was. It's not a very big space but the sushi is pretty decent although I wish it wasn't so expensive for something that was two pieces, nevertheless, the freshly made aburi sushi roll was absolutely divine (I don't think it's on the menu though). Also, the udon was quite tasty for $11.50 though the MSG in it did overpower the soup towards the end. To conclude, if you want a quick feed or feel like craving sushi at a casual dining place then this is the place to go to!
I dined here for lunch and ordered an Albap (fish eggs and Kimchi) rice hotpot, because I had a craving for Kimchi. When the hotpot arrived, I noticed there was no kimchi, but a sprinkle of seasoning with sesame in place of it (the brown powder on the bottom left of my bowl). I queried the waitress, and pointed out the missing Kimchi. She queried the chef asking if it's supposed to have Kimchi, who bluntly said no, it's not supposed to. Clearly not the case, as the menu says otherwise. I'm not one to make a scene, (I have a fear of eating food that has been sabotaged after a complaint) nodded, and ate my food and left. In my opinion they should have let me know when I ordered there was no kimchi, or offered me something in replace of the missing item (as it was not what I ordered) or even an apology, at the least. Not pleased with the service I received, food was ok otherwise.
This is a little sushi train restaurant owned by Korean chef. Besides their sushi dishes (they are very delicious by the way), they do have few Korean dishes on their menu. Likes: This is my current go-to place to satisfy my sushi cravings. Given the set up of ‘sushi train’ restaurant, it is an open kitchen therefore I know that they are very clean and well organized. Dislikes: They don’t open for dinner. Also closed on Sundays. food 4/5 * service 5/5 * ambience 3/5 nomadicenvy.com
The food and service were great, with a calm atmosphere and friendly and welcoming staff members. I was surprised to see that they have bibimbap. Sad thing is that they don't open for dinner (it seems that the entirety of stores in Regent Arcade close in the late afternoon...) but overall the experience was positive.
