Antica Bar Restaurant Bole አንቲካ ባርና ሬስቶራንት ቦሌ

My nephews favourite Restaurant in Bole area. We discovered it 6 years ago when we stayed in a guest house nearby. On this trip back to Addis it was well worth the little longer walk from our hotel. Such a traquille garden and happy personel. Pizza and Pasta we have tried. Cold beers and white wine. Hope to be back soon!

How is it possible when you visit a restaurant three consecutive times within two months and the service is horrible. 12/30/22 was the last time to go this place. The waiter was hard to find and unfriendly when asked about the fasting items from the menu he mentioned the exact word “you can order any items with no meat and cheese” in other words… I’m too tired to talk. The actual menu and the one on the website are not consistent. There’s no dessert section in the actual menu at all which indicated a variety on the website. We sat at the patio and a couple of times we had to go inside the restaurant to get the waiter. In conclusion, stay away from this place. Really I have seen many places but Antica has become consistent in providing a horrible service and the portion is not fair at all also The spinach lasagna was flat. Lastly, We asked olive oil for the bread and they will slap you with a 100 Birr on your bill. Should I expect an explanation from the unprofessional waiter? Naaaaahhhhhhh will never go back again.

We reached at 8:30 and were told to place our last order which we did (the last order should be by 9 according to the restaurant rules) The staff was very rude and the manager refused to serve us even ambo after we ordered our food. The bill was served while we were still eating. We order 2 pizzas they forgot to bring 1 pizza and blamed it on us for not ordering. They started clearing the table while we were eating and also refused to serve salad to us. Horrible Experience !!!
