Houfu Chinese - Adare

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delightful. Both the Chicken Black Bean and Chicken Sweetcorn Soup were incredible.

We were staying nearby for the night and chose to eat at Houfu, despite the calm atmosphere around it at the time. It turned out to be the right decision. The food was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The service was friendly and helpful. The General Tso's chicken was beautiful, and there were plenty of options on the menu.

The food was decent. when I was from the united states, it wasn't exactly what I was used to. the portions were significantly smaller than what we got in America, and they had no guts. Chinese restaurants in the usa have chopped soy sauce that they take along, but houfu hadn't. they had a teekanne soy sauce that they could pour into a small container, but it was not the same thing.

On a hotel break we took the children there early evening, the space was empty and the staff fell over themselves to make the things perfect for us. they helped us in the selection and changed, as we needed, were also very good with our cranky children. the dishes were in a flash and everyone was very good. great experience, worth a visit.
