While it wasn't as thick as I prefer, the flavor was great. I also had a vegan burrito that I really enjoyed. They are closed on Sundays but open at 9 AM every other day. You can choose to sit outside in the shade at one of the two tables or inside. The entrance is somewhat hidden, so you need to be right in front of the restaurant to see it clearly—there's a lot of greenery covering the sign. Be sure to double-check the address on their Instagram; the one listed on Happy Cow was incorrect and led me to a different location about a 7-minute drive away. I will definitely be returning for another smooth bowl! They also have chicken options for non-vegans.
I reached out to Green Eats on Instagram to confirm if they were open on New Year’s Day, and I received a definite yes. I met David, the owner, who hails from Ghana but is now based in NYC (Harlem). We had a wonderful conversation, and the customer service was outstanding. I enjoyed a delicious salad and will definitely be returning tomorrow for their smoothies. The portion sizes are small, but I highly recommend this place!
