We really enjoyed our meal here on our short break from Glasgow. Food was delicious and very friendly staff. Chef obviously cares his guests enjoy his creations and popped over for a chat. Would highly recommend.
The food was lovely, fresh and reasonably priced. However we had a sit in meal and the service wasn't so good , we were the only ones in the restaurant and made to feel like we shouldn't have been there. (6pm on a sat evening) One man practically stood over our table watching our every move which was very off putting. He gave eye contact regularly but in an aggressive way. There was a young girl also serving and she was lovely, and I feel she was even embarrassed by the way we were treated. Paying the bill was also handled wrongly, the man grabbed the money and gave no communication. Deffo won't be returning, shame as the food was nice but going out you expect the table service to be on point. A smile goes along way!
Slow service on a Saturday night when the restaurant was not busy. The staff were very nice but this did not make up for, the slow service. The excuse was that they had had a lot in of takeaway Orders But even they had to wait an excessive amount of time.Food was reasonable when it did arrive but even then it was not very warm.
We ate twice (takeaway) at the India Gate during our recent stay on Deeside. The first occasion the food was excellent. The second time the food was not up to the same standard, although it was still good.Very friendly staff recommended if you are looking for an Indian restaurant on Deeside.
