I had the fried pickles and they were really disappointing—almost inedible, despite my love for dill pickles. I ordered the hamburger steak topped with grilled onions, peppers, and bits of bacon, but when it arrived, the onions and peppers were barely grilled and the bacon was just thick strips placed on top. It would have tasted so much better if the bacon had been boiled and sliced thin. My husband had the fried steak, and it was tough and hard to chew. It's quite disappointing when a place claims to serve the best in the city! On a positive note, I did enjoy my sweet potato, although the menu listed it as a regular item, not a premium one. Overall, we are unlikely to return.

I had an excellent dining and culinary experience! The first thing that caught my attention was the enticing aroma of smoke wafting from the restaurant as I parked. They offer large steaks and a variety of unique dishes, including venison and frog legs. The bread was delicious and cooked to perfection. The dining room is beautiful, relaxed, and picturesque, creating a lovely atmosphere. The service was quick and friendly.

This restaurant serves the best ribeye I've ever had! I ordered it medium rare, and it arrived perfectly cooked—delicate, juicy, and full of flavor on the inside. It was accompanied by two sides; I chose the fried okra and loaded potatoes. A pro tip: they put the sour cream and butter underneath the potatoes, so be sure to mix them well before digging in. The service was quick and incredibly friendly! While it is a bit pricey, it’s definitely worth it. I would highly recommend it if you're nearby!

Omg! first brandon is the best server in the world! and the mushrooms are amazing! we? ve had other things on the menu, but if I crave the grilled mushroom, I will literally walk in for that! I thought I had pictures, but next time I will go before I eat crazy lol.

Always good food here. Jalapeño poppers were awesome. The chicken fried steak was my choice this time. The meat was a bit to chewy and had a lot of gristle in it. The crust was really good and the gravy was the best. Sides are average. A little disappointed with this dish but I love everything else they offer and will continue to frequent.
