Ordered food at 18.30 and it didn't arrive till 20.45 after several calls to the restaurant. Don't know if the food was good. I didn't feel it was worth over £40 after the long wait.
I like the pictures that you have. Maybe you could've giving much more verity in types on pictures but that's fine. I love your chicken curry. It's maybe the best chicken that have (I haven't been to another Indian restaurant, but that stands for something. And that chicken why did you add spice to that, you evil scum.
Recently got a delivery from here; arrived late by over an hour and cold too and to top it off was charged £1.50 for a single poppadom (which most places would give multiple of for free). Did phone to check that the price was correct and apparently a portion is 1 poppadom. The food itself would've been quite good if it was warmer but that's not much consolation.
When I arrived at the Bridge of Don location, I was dismayed to find it closed, and I was informed that my food would be coming from the Belmont Street location. They explained that they couldn’t staff the kitchen with staff from India, which I wanted to understand and sympathize with. However, the real issue was that my food didn’t arrive until 6:40, which led to my poor review. On a positive note, the food itself was good. The lamb korma was light and sweet, making it perfect for my kids. The chicken patia was unexpectedly spicy but incredibly delicious—I kept eating despite the heat. The naan was enormous, and each curry provided two generous portions. That said, Shri Bheema is on the pricier side compared to other restaurants. Given the delay in receiving the food, I feel it just isn't worth it.
