フィードバックを提供するWe have been frequenting this café in the gallery for many years. However, it appears that the Clayburn Gourmet Gallery has been sold recently. The new owners lack knowledge in running a restaurant, food, and coffee in particular. When my friend and I arrived just before noon, the café was deserted. The service was unfriendly, with no warm greetings or smiles, and the coffee we ordered tasted like water with some added color. The cookies were stale. Overall, we were very disappointed and won't be returning.
I would have enjoyed my visit more if the staff had been more friendly. I stood by the cash register for a couple minutes waiting to order while one of the ladies was playing on her phone. And then one of the employees scolded one of my friends because she was eating a banana on her way to the cafe and was finishing it while she sat inside. She was told very rudely that she can't eat her banana inside the store. It's not as though we brought in sandwiches or coffee from somewhere else. They don't sell bananas so they weren't losing a sale by having someone finish theirs inside. I had already ordered a drink and soup unfortunately, but that experience made me not want to go there again or order anything else. My other friends chose not to order anything while we were there because the rudeness of the employees made it the sort of place that we don't want to give our money to.
What a cute little coffee shop. My 5 min tea stop turned into a 30 min window antique shopping trip, so much fun stuff to fall in love with. Would definitely go back to try something else, I had a London fog and biscotti, no complaints.
Antiques, coffee , and a great selection of coffee friendly eats ! reasonably priced and always fresh !
A special and very unique coffee shop. Stepping into this family owned business feels just like home. The coffee is exceptional and always served with a smile ????. A drive from Mission to Abbotsford for a coffee is a regular trip since finding this 'gem'.
