Giant Eagle Bakery - South Euclid

The grocery side is staffed by great people. The pharmacy stinks. I stood for ten minutes and a car was at the drive up was there ten minutes. There was no acknowledgement from three staff including the manager. I called the number and asked for the pharmacy. when the manager heard my call she said that they would be right with me. I stated I had been there ten minutes as had the car. The manager told me I could go somewhere else. I will. What the manager does not know is I

Never Enough help. The only thing that is consistent is this fact that I'm able to scan my own groceries, although I don't work here. The people who do work here, especially at the checkout areas should make twice whatever their salaries are and I should be paid for my work when scanning and bagging my own groceries. Customer service is clearly not the model here.

The parking lot is well-lit, and there is local police presence on-site for added safety. There's also a full-service pharmacy and a state liquor store nearby. Additionally, the wine selection is impressively stocked with a variety of types and flavors.

The Pharmacy Manager mentioned that they couldn't take prescription numbers over the phone and that we needed to visit in person to avoid confusion. Given that prescription numbers are LITERALLY sequential for processing a prescription or NDC number, I find that quite alarming. The Willoughby Giant Wagle Pharmacy is excellent—always courteous, helpful, and polite. I can't believe how rude and incompetent this location is in comparison. I regret having to come here instead.

We stopped by to pick up a few essentials before heading to a friend's house. The store layout was quite easy to navigate, and we found everything we needed without any hassle. The cashier was really helpful and gave us a courtesy card when we mentioned we were from out of town and wanted to get a discount on one of our items. They do charge 10 cents per bag, so we decided to carry out our items and used some reusable bags we had in the car instead. Overall, it's a standard grocery store.
