Happy and outgoing welcoming when entering. Owner was very helpful with the menu selection. Food was prepared fast. Most importantly the food was delicious. Definitely will be back. Will spread the word for great food and service.

Very good place to eat! Lots of food out in your plate! The owner works side by side with his staff! Greeting his customers as they walk in! Making this a major plus to his establishment! Very welcoming. Very clean as well. Will definitely eat here again!!!

First time here and this was such a great experience with outstanding food. I highly recommend this place and will be back many more times.

Honestly I wish I would 've eaten my tater while it was hot. I don 't ever think I 'll buy another baked potato from anywhere else in Louisiana. By Far exceeded my expectations on what I thought a baked

Just passing through town and we sought this place out because my dad read his story in a local magazine while waiting in the vet's office. I'm normally vegan but since being in Louisiana decided to give myself a few days to enjoy some of the specialties of the region. [Big mistake as my body revolted but that's another story]. I was really surprised to see Jerry was actually there AND working the counter himself! At first a bit standoffish (dad can be a force storming in the door), he quickly warmed up after dad mentioning his story and how we not only came because of the article, but had originated our journey back in GA. Anyway, the boudin melt was stupid delicious and wrong in so many ways for this fallen vegan, and the BBQ brisket was also very good. The menu is huge; if I lived here I'd ask for some creative veg options. It's a very unassuming location with a steady stream of customers carrying out multiple boxes of food. A must visit if you're in Scott, LA (Lafayette).
