Ronny's Place - Quepos

Ok just let me say first that I do not enjoy giving a bad review on a restaurant and that I will give every opportunity for any establishment to correct themselves. In this case after telling the waiter that the Sirloin and lobster were as tough as shoe leather, nothing was given but a 10% discount not another piece of meat or an apology from the chef. I have to say it’s a service staff and sunset views are spectacular Also, the desert was first class. But unfortunately I will not return and there are many other restaurants in Manuel Antonio that offer beautiful sunsets while you dine and If your looking for excellent steaks and seafood check out El Lagarto you will not be disappointed.

Great food, excellent service and nice atmosphere. The restaurant is located on the top of the hill away from city lights. We had a lovely dinner with my wife as we enjoyed fresh seafood. Definitely the best restaurant in Manuel Antonio we’ve been to

Set your expectations low for the food and you won’t be disappointed… service was good, attentive waiters… atmosphere and view are the reason you even waste your time and money on this place .. appetizer, entree and one alcoholic drink $45 for one person…

Best sunset dinner we had in Costa Rica. It is more pricey since it’s the tourist zone (everything in Manuel Antonio is more pricey for tourist) but the food did not disappoint. Steak, tuna, lobster, ceviche, and flaming rum banana was delicious! Bill was about $200 USD but we had alcohol as well. Great for a date night!

We booked a 5 o’clock table so we could see the sunset. The food was good and the drinks were well-made. The road getting up to their place is a little bit sketchy but as long as you have a four-wheel-drive, you should be fine.
