Li-Li - Wien

The place wouldn't last a day in Asia nor in the US, but it was OK (I guess) for the much lower European standards of what Chinese-ish food is supposed to be. I have had much better in Vienna, although I have to admit that I had much worse once as well. I have been there twice, and both times the waitresses seemed either very tired, very angry, or both. Surly is probably a good description, like they are pissed off to see you walk in the door. About the best thing I can say about it is that my nine year old daughter liked it, but now she likes the different one we go to much better.

We went a couple of times for dinner to this restaurant. They offer buffet with sushi and other chinese disches. Fish and vegetables are also included in buffet price, but you must order a plate from special buffet menu. Then they grill it for you. The dishes are tasty and fresh. Buffet is small, but the good thing is that you can order how many plates you want beside the buffet offer. For the price of ca 12 euro for buffet, i find it good.

Das Hühnerfleisch süß-sauer hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Ich komme gerne wieder.

„Das Mittagessen-Buffet ist super lecker! Ich bin normalerweise sehr wählerisch, aber hier ist alles sehr sauber und man wird regelmäßig gefragt, ob etwas fehlt. Falls ja, wird es frisch zubereitet. Das Personal ist außerdem sehr freundlich und lustig. Wir kommen gerne wieder. TOP!“

Die Atmosphäre und Einrichtung waren nichts Besonderes, und wir waren an diesem Abend fast die einzigen Gäste. Das Essen war jedoch überraschend gut, wirklich lecker!! Das Beste war jedoch die äußerst freundliche Bedienung und die vielen Extras, die uns kostenlos angeboten wurden. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt für das Restaurant ist, dass es das Thema Essensverschwendung am Buffet anspricht.
