Nate's Boathouse - Christiansted

We dined here for both dinner and lunch. The food and service were very good, and my wife, who has celiac disease, had no issues. The only drawback was that the dinner waitress confessed she wasn’t very knowledgeable about gluten, but she collaborated with the kitchen to ensure everything was safe. I’m giving it four stars because there aren't many gluten-free options available.

Additionally, the service left much to be desired. For instance, our server never took our drink orders, so we only had the three glasses of water that the hostess initially brought for our table of four. I understand that island life can be more laid-back, but life is too short to endure poor service and mediocre food. I won't be returning.
