Delicious, rich, and moist. Based on other reviews I used half butter and half shortening. I also split the sugar half and half white and brown. I would definitely make these again.

These are a chocolate lovers dream cookieI have made them 6 timesThe last batch I used an electric mixer for mixing the butter, eggs, sugar, and vanilla.

Made these cookies as a quick treat for my husband and I last night and they turned out fantasticI did make one change in the recipie.
